Biographical / Historical
張佩瑤（1953-2013），就讀於嘉諾撒聖心書院，並在香港大學修畢英國文學學士和碩士課程。1978 年起於香港大學任教，1980 年在英國肯特大學 (University of Kent at Canterbury) 攻讀博士學位。1991 年加入香港中文大學翻譯系。
1995 年轉至香港浸會大學英國語言文學系擔任副教授，1998 年晉升為教授，2007 年晉升為講座教授。同時兼任多個職務，包括翻譯學課程教授、翻譯學研究中心主任等。2008 年至 2010 年出任浸會大學協理副校長。
曾擔任 The Translator 國際諮詢委會會成員、Translation Studies 顧問編輯、《中國翻譯》雜誌編委、清華大學出版社「翻譯與跨學科研究叢書」編委、上海外語教育出版社特聘「外教社翻譯研究叢書」編委、《譯叢》雜誌編委等。
著作有《中國翻譯話語英譯選集》，英譯韓少功、劉索拉和梁秉鈞的作品，還有與黎翠珍合作編譯的「黎翠珍翻譯劇本系列」、An Oxford Anthology of Contemporary Chinese Drama 等。
