Biographical / Historical
戴天（1935-2021），原名戴成義，筆名南來雁、余之雲、何真、田戈、陳雪落、鍾道觀、宋船歸等。生於廣東，後移居毛里裘斯，中學時開始投稿。1957 年，入讀台灣大學外國語文系。1960 年與白先勇、李歐梵、陳若曦、劉紹銘等大學同學共同創辦《現代文學》雜誌，並發表詩作。畢業後移居香港，先為「美國之音」（VOA）當翻譯工作，也做過美國新聞處（USIS of Hong Kong）書籍翻譯組的助理編輯。至 1982 年。
1963 至 1964 年間在中華基督教青年會書院任教英文和史地，同時為《中國學生周報》撰寫「教師手記」專欄和影評。1967 年與古蒼梧、胡菊人等創辦《盤古》，同年參加美國愛荷華大學的「國際寫作計劃」，為香港首位參加者。回港後擔任今日世界出版社編輯，與友人創立「文化‧生活出版社」。1969 年與古蒼梧等合辦「創建實驗學院」和「詩作坊」。1979 年與鄭臻等創辦《八方》文藝叢刊，1981 年，與友人創立香港文化藝術協會並擔任主席。
1983 年起擔任《讀者文摘》遠東有限公司高級編輯至 1990年，其後周遊於加拿大、美國和墨西哥等地，1993 至 2001 年擔任《信報財經月刊》的總編輯。晚年移居加拿大。
