Biographical / Historical

李遠榮（1941-　），祖籍福建省南安縣，出生於馬來西亞怡保市。筆名馬馳原、李梅山。

曾就讀怡保培南小學。1951年隨父母回南安縣定居，入讀國專小學及國光中學。1959年入讀廣州暨南大學中文系。1964年畢業後被分配到南安縣新僑中學任語文教師。1973年移居香港。

來港後於育華中學任教語文，又於漢華中學夜校兼教。1976年考取香港大學校外課程部實用中文課程證書。後來轉行從商，任香港晨風進出口有限公司董事。1992年公司結業，李遠榮獲介紹到香港中旅集團有限公司工作，擔任《中旅之星》刊物主編，至2002年退休。

自1987年起，李遠榮業餘從事寫作，以寫人物傳記見長，同時著力研究郁達夫。著作有《名人往事漫憶》、《博採珍聞》、《文海過帆》、《李光前傳》、《翰墨情緣》、《郁達夫研究》等。其中散文《海峽兩岸一家親》獲1991年《人民日報》（海外版）舉辦的「共愛中華」徵文比賽優秀獎；散文詩《承諾》獲1998年中國散文詩徵文比賽優秀獎。任香港作家聯會秘書長、中國作家協會會員等。
