Consists of correspondence between David Hawkes and the seminar organizer, academic papers, and other materials related to a seminar honouring Christoph Harbsmeier (何莫邪), a Norwegian sinologist, held 28 August-3 September 1995, at University of Oslo, Sørneset, Norway. The seminar papers were subsequently published under title Minds and mentalities in traditional Chinese literature (1999) with a preface by David Hawkes. Arranged chronologically.
