Biographical / Historical

方寬烈（1923-2013），原名方業光，筆名方光、東君，廣東潮安人。生於香港，嶺南大學經濟系畢業，曾任香港中國郵學會理事長，主編《郵光》。抗戰後，繼承祖業豐昌順的方寬烈，逐漸把經營重點從布疋經銷，轉營至校服生意。營商之餘，雅好創作舊體詩詞、蒐集文學書籍和研究香港文學等。

1963 年末，赴澳門任國際新聞通訊社的編輯，曾編撰 1964 和 1965 年《澳門工業旅遊年鑑》。居澳門期間，完成詩集《小城集》及開始編輯《澳門當代詩詞紀事》。1966 年回港，工餘時間參與香港的文學活動，曾任香港文史研究會會長、香港詩人協會理事和儒商學會理事等， 2006-2007 年擔任《文學研究》季刊出版社董事長。晚年把部份藏書捐贈予香港中文大學圖書館。
